Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy (AAS) is a powerful analytical technique that is used by scientists to determine the exact composition of a sample material. In this method, the sample material is subjected to electromagnetic radiation and its components are measured, allowing for accurate measurements of elements and compounds present in the sample.
The basic schematic diagram of AAS is quite simple and straightforward. It consists of three main components: a light source, a detector unit, and a sample chamber.
